A small project for a nationwide company specializing in PoS terminals. The goal was to extend the terminal functions and add a feature for micro-loan management. The terminal UI was updated on the front-end while the backend was extended to facilitate scheduled payouts.
Our team worked on developing a loan system with 3 basic loan amounts. Attached terms use pre-collected data from the PoS to calculate the credit score and offer the most suitable loan terms. We developed a feature that allowed for scheduled monthly payments from credit cards and PayPal. The PoS terminal firmware was updated to support the loan functions.
