Rever is a motorcycle trip planner. Rever app allows users to search for more than 3000 motorcycle road trip maps(trails, race tracks, etc) worldwide.

Located in Eagle, Colorado, Rever is a platform that connects a global community of motorcycle enthusiasts via a free mobile app and website, allowing them to discover new motorcycling experiences.
Rever offers a motorcycle trip planning and GPS route tracking app. The app can be used for trip planning, ride tracking, and connecting with other riders.
Problem
The client came with a complete set of design mockups for an early iOS/Android app version. The challenge was to create a social network for the motorcycle community with features to explore new routes, connect with fellow riders, and share their motorcycle experiences.
The client entrusted the development team with complete freedom in the tech stack choice, aiming for an innovative and user-friendly solution.
Solution
Using Objective-C/Swift (CoreData, CoreLocation, MapKit, UIKit) for the iOS version and Java (CoreJava, RxJava, UIKit, etc.) for Android, we implemented the design mockups into the app’s coded screens. The features included socialization capabilities, a GPS automatic route tracker, and notifications for friends about trip start and end times.
Results
The development process took us almost five months. The Rever app prototype passed testing and was successfully released to the App Store and Google Play. The prototype helped the owners raise seed funding. Rever has received good reviews from the motorcycling community. After a few years, the company raised a further $2.9 million in funding and was subsequently acquired by Comoto Holdings.
