The client approached DevTeam.Space to build an innovative HIPAA-compliant blockchain-based website and launch several smart contracts.
Solution
Our expert blockchain development team designed and built a set of smart contracts with Hyperledger technology (tokens for medical services) and integrated it into the client’s backend and website’s features. These tokens optimize the initiation/confirmation process for healthcare-related data. As a result, Medicoin launched a blockchain-based web application that gathers, saves, and manages all the necessary information regarding specific transactions and results. The system can also be used as a prescription management solution, where pharmaceutical companies, insurers, and researchers can access immutable data. All information is stored in an encoded form inside a HIPAA-compliant environment.
