An MVP update: new features and reworked backend/server for scalability.
Client
Musopen is a California-based non-profit organization that focuses on increasing access to music by creating free resources and educational materials.
Challenge
Museopen approached us to update and scale their MVP with new features and backend architecture.
Solution
The project started with a preliminary code review to evaluate the codebase quality and estimate the client’s tasks. After providing the code review report and approving the scope of work, our expert web development team proceeded with the coding phase. During the coding phase, our team connected the new Marionette/Backbone framework to the updated Python/Flask backend, optimized the backend architecture for further scaling, and implemented new features. As a result, Museopen now provides recordings, sheet music, and textbooks to the public for free and without copyright restrictions, and it is ready to scale to serve more users.

DevTeam.Space rocks
We needed a new long-term product development partner to identify the issues, and ideally, take over the entire product. The performance of our shipping platform increased dramatically since DevTeam.Space stepped in. We plan to continue working with them on a long term basis.
