Challenge: DevTeam.Space needed to boost the Island Bargains platform operation performance by fixing critical issues identified within the system.
Results: Our dedicated development team performed a detailed code review to detect all the code performance and security problems to be addressed. The team also conducted load and performance testing, identified the code bottlenecks, and outlined a shortlist of critical issues that needed to be resolved. We also introduced PHP and JS frameworks with support work, code improvements, and implementation of new features.
In addition, our web development team implemented a new Point of Sale (POS) system, integrated various services for better customer service, and helped link the software warehouse system with the company’s new IoT product scanners, which drastically increased operational efficiency.

Challenge: The project implied creating a white-labeled software solution for facilities management, i.e., renting and leasing storage units, assigning locks, billing, etc.
Results: DevTeam.Space was approached with the task of creating several solutions, including for mobile and web, as well as revamping an existing web app. We divided the project into several subprojects, including backend API integration, building a mobile app for clients to rent units, a mobile app for facility managers, a web application with a security camera module to manage cameras and support video streams, a video call module and a statistics module that collects all rental-related metrics.
We completed all subprojects, eliminated the bugs, and resolved all the usability issues. Further maintenance depends on which approach will be chosen for the project: consolidating it into a single monolith or implementing a microservice-based architecture. It connects with ACH payment and investment services to perform investments and withdrawals. A set of custom plugins, including a real estate investment object management system, was created specifically for this website. The project was completed within 3 months.
